IHS Red Ribbon Week starts Oct. 26

Independence High School is hosting Red Ribbon week Oct. 26-30.

Red Ribbon week aims to spread awareness about drug abuse and educate students about its effects.

Students can participate in Red Ribbon week at IHS and show their support through the school’s dress up days.

  • Monday- Camo Day, “Drugs Can’t Find Us”
  • Tuesday- Western Day, “Give Drugs the Boot”
  • Wednesday- Holiday Day, “Drugs Will Get Ya on The Naughty List”
    • Wear your festive gear of Red, Green, or White
  • Thursday-Halloween Day, “Scare Drugs Away”
    • Wear black and orange, or any festive accessories. No Halloween costumes are allowed.
  • Friday- Red-out
