Fall activities around Frisco

Get your fall decorations out from the attic, because October is finally here.  There are many events going on this month in Frisco to help get you into the fall spirit. 

Independence High School (IHS)  is hosting Trunk-or-Treat, on Saturday, October 30 from 6:30-8:30 in the IHS band parking lot. This will include collecting candy and hanging out with friends.

IHS is also hosting a Halloween-themed football game on October 29 at the Denton- C.H. Collins Complex so be sure to come dressed in your most frightening costume.

The Frisco Fresh Market is having their Family Funtoberfest on October 9 from 8-4 p.m. and October 10 from 10-4 p.m.. Family Funtoberfest will have festivities such as games, bounce houses, and food. As always, Frisco’s vendors will be selling all kinds of unique goods. IHS’  very own NHS students are volunteering at this event so be sure to check it out.

Invite your family and friends to the Second Annual Fall Festival  from 6:30-8 p.m. This event is open to the public, free of charge at the parking lot. Some of the fun activities planned are Trunk-or-Treats, games, bounce houses, food trucks, local vendors, pumpkin decorations, and costumes. 

The 16 annual Autumn at the Arboretum returns with more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash creating their stunning display. The theme this year will be “The Art of the Pumpkin.” The Arboretum will also have special events, live music and Halloween festivities this season, so be sure to visit their website. 

Fright Fest is back! Six Flags is hosting Fright Fest for a limited time until October 31. The Halloween event will have spooky sing-a-longs, thrilling rides, and be on the lookout for monsters roaming the park at night. Is there a video maybe to break this up?
